Ahhh… the brain… one of the most important and fascinating organs in our body. If you’ve never taken the time to look into the brain, and I mean researching it, now might be a good time. There have been so many break-out findings about the brain over the past few years, and most of them have been published so they are easily accessible. For me, I am just thankful that I have my Essential Life book, plus the Modern Essentials book that are full of interesting topics about our bodies and support from Essential Oils. Since 2011 I have been using doTerra‘s oils to support my body in a lot of ways, and I’ve been sharing this information on this blog, plus teaching classes all over San Diego and beyond. These oils offer a natural way to soothe and support our bodies and everyone is entitled to this info. ~ Let me give you a few examples of some of the oils that can support an aging brain, a topic a lot of us are interested in. Clove, Copaiba, Douglas Fir, Frankincense, Oregano, and Thyme can all be applied to the base of the neck topically, plus you can take any of these in a capsule and swallow. Also, a popular recipe to mix in a gel capsule is 4 to 5 drops each of Frankincense, Thyme, and Patchouli, once a day. A weekly mixture is 4 to 5 drops each of Clove, Melissa, and Vetiver, in a gel capsule and swallowed. And the number one thing that people go back to over and over is simply applying Frankincense oil on the base of the neck every day.
